Three things that make the difference

1. Design and engineering in one person

   Media informatics is exactly that intersection: half computer science, half human-computer interaction. I don't just build an interface, I can explain why it looks the way it does — and I don't let an interaction idea fail on the technology. With both in one person, the most expensive friction in a project disappears: the handover between design and implementation.

2. I run what I build

   Four systems currently run under my responsibility in production — with Docker, TLS, automated deployments, backups and uptime monitoring. That changes how you build: someone who gets the call when it breaks at night makes different decisions than someone who closes the project at launch.

3. I say so when I got it wrong

   In one completed SEO project I found and documented a mistake of my own in my own closing audit. In one of my own products I discarded four months of work because the analysis pointed elsewhere. Neither is here because it sounds good, but so you know what you get when something does go wrong.
